MICROFINANCE PROJECT
We are planning to establish a new Microfinance project for our 3-village trust groups found in Mtera, Kongwa and Mpwapwa Dodoma Tanzania. All these trust groups have well organized in vibrant management structures with a chairperson, secretary and cashier. Most of the members forming these trust groups are subsistence level farmers and they conduct small-scale business but they face a challenge of having enough Capital to run their businesses.
One of our objectives is to improve living conditions of people and reducing rural poverty. We plan to support the 3 village trust groups by providing them loans with fairer rate of interest and fair payment schedules to help them Increase their profits and be able to repay the loan. Also, we plan to provide them with key business skills and financial management. The whole process will be done with guidance from our local staff.
